A DAY IN THE LIFE AT AQUATIC SOLUTIONS
The team at Aquatic Solutions work hard here every day as we are determined to supply you with “better fish” at a “better price”. We find great satisfaction through the work we do to ensure that all fish are well taken care of and all orders are sent out smoothly.
Before I started working at Aquatic Solutions, I never would have imagined some of the work that goes into our daily procedures, which includes maintenance routines and order processing.
From 6:30 till late in the evening, our fish rooms and packing areas are buzzing with activity. There is never a dull moment here. All day we hear everyone in their weighty boots walking in and out of rooms, the constant doors opening and closing to maintain the room temperature, the whining of industrial air blowers, the continuous water running and of course, the endless phone ringing! A staggering amount of live fish are sent out and received in every single day. My eyes are opened daily, whether it be discovering a fish I’ve never seen before, improving workplace efficiency, learning about medications and preventatives for disease control, industry building and just expanding my fish knowledge.
I’m hoping to be able to show more experiences here with everyone on Facebook, particularly our day to day running of the business. In the coming weeks, we would like to upload more videos and photos of our staff here and the daily routines. We will take you around our fish rooms and introduce you to our friendly team members and see what fish they recommend. Hopefully you guys find this interesting and if not, let me know and I’ll stop!
